Adam (AJ) James Harmon,30, an Andover, MN resident Beloved son of Matthew and Pamela (Quandt) Harmon, brother of Lucas Harmon and Jacob (Madeline) Harmon, uncle of Hattie and Greta Harmon, Godfather of Hattie, passed away at his home on Saturday (July 19, 2025). Adam loved his family and friends whole-heartedly. His infectious smile and welcoming spirit touched many people in his short life
Adam James Harmon was born April 17, 1995 in Green Bay, WI. He was an Andover High School graduate in 2013, and attended Winona State University from 2013-2014. Adam was employed for the past 6 years at Sunderland Plumbing, Inc. where he became an excellent tradesman working on plumbing and HVAC for residential homes and commercial buildings throughout Minnesota. He was a hard-working, kind-hearted, and loyal young man.
His faith and love of Jesus, family, and friends were very important to him. He grew up and received the sacraments at St. Patrick Catholic Church with his brothers and friends and large church family. He loved family vacations with his parents, brothers, sister-in-law and nieces. His passions included attending comedy shows with friends and family; writing and telling jokes of his own; golfing with his father and brothers; helping family and friends with house projects; disc golfing; reading; spending time and playing with his nieces; and the many trips with extended family to Lake Geneva and the Fritz family cabin.
Adam will be remembered for his patient and open-minded demeanor, lively sense of humor, contagious laughter, and good-natured smile. He was one of the most unselfish and loving people around. Many people have shared with us how thoughtful Adam was and that he directed his energy towards ensuring others were doing ok, having fun, smiling, and laughing. He freely sacrificed for family and friends above himself. Our Adam will be forever loved, never forgotten and held in God’s loving arms for eternity.
He is survived by by his loving parents, siblings, nieces, grandparents Ray Quandt, Gary and Peg Harmon and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by Janet Quandt (Grandmother), Terry Quandt (Uncle), Peggy Quandt (Aunt) and Mike Bleifus (Uncle).
