Aiden Hamilton Higgins Obituary

Aiden Hamilton Higgins, age 25, of Stewartville, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2026, following a sudden medical event. He was a devoted son, a proud brother, and a cherished grandson. He was known for his humor, loyalty, and ability to bring energy and joy into every space he entered.

Aiden was born on July 23, 2000, in Rochester, Minnesota, to Jason and Michelle (Hamilton) Higgins. His family is deeply grateful for the 25 years they were blessed to share with him and finds comfort in their faith, trusting in God’s perfect timing.

Aiden lived with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and advocacy for this was important to him. He wanted others to know that they were enough just as they are. He had a deep love for all sports, especially the Green Bay Packers. His loyalty ran so deep that even his fantasy football teams were made up entirely of Packers players. He also treasured attending Minnesota Twins games with his grandparents.

He loved swimming at the lake, vacationing with his family, and spending time with those he loved most. Aiden enjoyed cooking and he took pride in making the perfect medium-rare steak! He had a gift for artistic and musical creativity, storytelling, humor, and conversations. He loved animals, especially his dogs, Maggie and Tucker. He found joy in music, creating TikTok content, and playing Xbox with his friends. He cherished his time having fun and sharing laughter with those around him through the activities he enjoyed. Aiden had a remarkable gift for trivia and an incredible memory where he could always recall even the smallest details others had forgotten, helping bring moments and memories back to life.

He is survived by his parents, Michelle and Jason Higgins; siblings, Alexander (Katherine), Ava, and Ari; grandparents, Micheal and Ruth Hamilton, and LeRoy and Mary Higgins; aunts and uncles, Jeff (Kathy) Higgins, Traci (Matt Zeimet) Paulson, Mick (Jacque) Hamilton, Katherine (John) Schouweiler, and Nathan (Genna) Hamilton; and cousins, Kai Rain, Allie (Jon Larimer) Larimer-Higgins, Jacob (Miranda) Higgins, Brianna and Chayse Paulson, McKenna (Christopher) Wingert, Peyton Schouweiler (Kelsey Miner), Sydney, Reid, and Maclan Hamilton.

Throughout his life, Aiden helped others better understand and appreciate neurodiversity, leaving a quiet but meaningful impact on those around him. Above all, Aiden will be remembered for his loyalty to those he loved and the joy he brought into every room. His life leaves a lasting imprint on his family and all who knew him.
