Ophelia A. VonWald

Ophelia Anne VonWald was stillborn on Saturday (March 28, 2026) at Mayo Clinic Rochester – Methodist Campus. She was given to the arms of her loving parents, Stephen and Star VonWald to hold for too short a time and to love forever.  

Ophelia is deeply loved by her mommy and daddy – Stephen and Star VonWald of Rochester, her grandparents – Andy and Angel Hoot of Rochester; Tim and Lisa VonWald of Bonita Springs, FL;  great-grandparents – LaVern and Sandy Burdick of Rochester; David and Becky Hoot of Stewartville; Andy Maday of Rochester and Tim McPhee of Byron, MN;  her aunts and uncles, her cousins and many more that were looking forward to meeting her.

A private family burial and committal service will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester. Arrangements are with Griffin-Gray FH in Stewartville.
